Oysterponds Elementary School

Oysterponds is a great little school that fosters learning in their Pre-K through sixth grade students. Teacher student ratio is small and they meet the needs of individual students. Overall we have had a great experience with the school and the learning environment it provides.

It is a horrible school.Most of the teachers do an awful job. I know that the quality of education is near nonexistent. I never truly learned much from the teachers.There is also the issue with the teachers themselves, especially when it comes to favoritism. One teacher had given me a bad grade over

On 2011 state ELA and math scores Oysterponds is at least ten points ahead of every other elementary school on the North Fork making it without a doubt the best elementary school. Small class sizes (average 12 students), dedicated teachers and most recent Supt. have led to great improvements.
