The community is tight knit, so I understand the old reviews but North Salem has come a long way in the last decade. Completely agree with the most recent reviews - this school is a hidden gem in Westchester. I really value the low student to teacher ratio and like how close the kids at this school

North Salem has changed for the better. Parents looking to move to the district should not be discouraged by the low ratings scale from this site.
