Urban Assembly School Of Business For Young Women

I am a relatively new staff member at UASBYW and have been blown away by the various support systems in place. UASBYW goes above and beyond to offer the appropriate services to students with learning differences and is a welcoming and supportive environment for new arrival students. The tight-knit community allows teachers to establish trusting relationships with their students and make a lasting impact. College and career preparation begins as early as 9th grade and is extremely hands-on. Our seniors are supported with college applications, essays, FAFSA, scholarships, and more. I have never seen such services at any other school and am proud to be a member of this community!

uasbyw is a small school that is extremely community based, i love that everyone is like a family and coming to school doesn’t seem like school. even slow boring days aren’t bad here because there’s never any problems with students or even student and teachers. it’s just a nice place to be especially as someone who hates drama or the normal highschool day.

overall it’s a great school and i love the school community, all my teachers and school staff are great people and very helpful. i also made a lot of good friends in this school too that make me enjoy coming to school. coming to this school was the best decision.

I am currently a sophomore at urban assembly and i absolutely love it. It is such a welcoming place. All of the girls are like sisters, we all have great memories with friends and teachers. The teachers care about your mental health and are very understanding about everything. I love being a student here.

The principal is a rude woman & so are the girls who follow her “leadership.” I don’t know how anyone could put their daughter in this school.
