I wish that an angel like the one who saved St. Brigid's would intervene. This is a horrible loss for the neighborhood community, and it breaks up a school that functions

I have never had an experience with a teacher saying negative comments to my child so it might have been some of the teachers that use to be there that people had problems with.

The entire administration is always willing to listen to the students, parents. There is a wonderful sense of community at our school. The teachers are so engaged and care about the education and social emotional development of each child in their classroom. I am most impressed by the faculty and staff - it is apparent how dedicated they are to their students and helping them learn, but it is also apparent that they love what they do. They are consistently warm, supportive, and responsive. Another strength of the school is its close-knit community feel. The parents and families of the students are eager to be involved, and the school provides a multitude of opportunities for them to volunteer, gather, and participate in their child's school experience. I can't speak highly enough of the teachers, administrators, facilities team, students and parents that are involved with the school. Due to the highly passionate teachers, my two children have developed into confident and conscientious students. With the small class sizes each child receives individualised attention, developing skills like resilience, grit, and a growth mindset. The students are all well mannered and caring of each other and their community, wanting to participate in all activities from sports, the school production, community outreach and UN activities. The families that attend are from NY and the rest of the world, making up a wonderfully diverse community that is welcoming and kind. In 8th grade the teachers go above and beyond to help prepare the students with their high school applications with test preparations, mock interviews and information sessions, hand holding parents throughout.
