We had high hopes for Mountain Laurel Waldorf school, but our experience has been disappointing on several non-negotiable fronts.First, there is an ongoing lice issue that doesn’t seem to be effectively addressed. Despite multiple outbreaks, communication and prevention measures have been inconsistent. The treatments families are using to eliminate the lice are also questionable.Second, the school does not provide adequate support for students who need special education services. If your child has learning differences or needs individualized support, be aware that resources and accommodations are limited. You will be referred to the local public school and/or you will need to hire a private tutor.Lastly, discipline seems to be applied unevenly. Physical behaviors like pushing and punching are often overlooked—unless certain students are involved. This lack of consistency creates an unfair unsafe environment for the children.You couldn't pay me to send my children back to this school.
