Valley Central Middle School

I’m a parent of a Berea student and coming from a high performing school in NYC this school at first seemed to be too lax- but now with the changing times and new curriculums I think things are getting better. My child is on her 3rd year here, we came when she was leaving 2nd grade and all her teachers have been GEMS. This school offers a lot of activities for families and is very safe. I am glad I chose to move to this area no regrets.

Both of my children attended MES and I can say that I am truly grateful for the hard work & dedication the teachers & staff have shown not only to my children but others as well.

I have experienced that teachers at this school do not care and are there for a paycheck. Lack of enthusiasm from teachers. Never get a a straight answer from teacher when I called for something and received a call back a week later from teacher. . Some teachers that I experienced do not teach and do not spend time teaching but rather play videos instead. They do bare minimum just to get by. My kid is behind because of this school. I would not recommend this school at all! They r u organized and scream at yell at kids unprofessionally. Stay away!
