Howard T Herber Middle School

I went here, and I am not gonna lie, this was one hell of a experience. I was picked on often, but nobody even noticed, even in a small class. It was better towards the end of the year, but when I first came to this school, it was one of the worst and best 6 months of my life. I made some friends, but they were not very close to me. Overall, the teachers expect greatness from their students and want them to achieve greatness. I would recommend this school but at your risk. I came to this school in 6th grade. The homework is not impossible, and fairly easy. Leadership is great, the support of students with learning differences are decent, but could be better. Bullying is handled seriously when brought to the principal, but if it is happening and you don't say anything even though the teachers should notice, nothing will be done.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Grace. The teachers and staff truly care about their students. My children are excited to go to school. It’s a small school with a big heart and I would love to see it grow more. They offer many opportunities for extracurricular activities, my 4th grader is writing essays and making presentations and writing in cursive! My 1st grader is doing very well and her teacher approaches her with an understanding of her learning style to optimize her learning.
