Posted by a parent on 10/23/2018This school district is one of the most predjudiced districts on Long Island. My children went here and I took them out because of alienation. The parents and kids are very cliquish. If you want diversity do not send your children to this school district.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went here, and I am not gonna lie, this was one hell of a experience. I was picked on often, but nobody even noticed, even in a small class. It was better towards the end of the year, but when I first came to this school, it was one of the worst and best 6 months of my life. I made some friends, but they were not very close to me. Overall, the teachers expect greatness from their students and want them to achieve greatness. I would recommend this school but at your risk. I came to this school in 6th grade. The homework is not impossible, and fairly easy. Leadership is great, the support of students with learning differences are decent, but could be better. Bullying is handled seriously when brought to the principal, but if it is happening and you don't say anything even though the teachers should notice, nothing will be done.Other Review4y ago - Our Lady of Lourdes School
