I love my child and take my role as a parent seriously. I have pushed my child to achieve academically but they have not acknowledge her success. My child was disappointed she didn’t receive any honors. Her own peers where shocked she didn’t get any recognition. What bothers me is this school is willing to pass failing students who rarely show for school. My child said to me “ what’s the point in trying when they will pass you anyway. Why should I work hard when they are going to give the awards to the ‘popular’ kids”. Now that was hard to hear from a 13 year old. Thank you North Park.
