I had a child with learning differences attend Primrose. The school administrator and teachers were always very accommodating and helpful!

I absolutely agree with the reviews stating that primrose is a good school ONLY if your child is middle of the road student. If your child has any special needs good luck to you. If they are twice exceptional, well, then it's even worse.I am so disappointed to find out that the school district I thought was so great is anything but.

I think my older daughter, and now my younger one, received a wonderful education there. The teachers were caring, responsible and communicative. It seems up-to-date technology wise with all classes have smart boards. classroom size seems appropriate, although there are lots of classes.

Primrose Elementary is a gem tucked away in Somers, NY. A good facility but, thanks to an outstanding professional staff, a great school. The K-2 set-up is a blessing. It has given my son time - time to be himself without the pressure of older kids and older behavior. The teachers have been professional, exacting but nurturing. My son has been challenged in the best sense. The variety of approaches gives every learner a way in. His reading and math skills were well established by first grade. By second grade, he has been reading 4th and 5th grade level chapter books, made possible by flexible observant teachers. Parental involvement is solid. Highest praise for the leadership. Engaged, committed and available. The logistics of the schools run smoothly, day in, day out, with a friendly helpful office. The principal and asst. principal are excellent, tireless in their efforts to make the school work for the children who attend it - not the other way around. Introduction of Common Core has not been easy for anyone. Their leadership has been essential to its successful introduction. We looked at private schools that did not match up to Primrose. Lucky us
