My son, Tommy, has been enrolled with the Anderson Center for almost 30 years and throughout the changes over time, he has always felt loved and cared for. Nobody has ever given up on him, and that has made a huge difference in his continuing improvement on a behavioral level. He continues to have high self esteem and self confidence levels, which positively impact learning. He participates in all sorts of activities, including competing in the Track and Field events of the Special Olympics and the horseback riding program. Tommy has always connected with animals, and to have those resources be available to him is a great benefit. The expanded art program has been a beautiful way for him to communicate artistically; his work goes on display in a gorgeous galleries. It is one enormous family there and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found them they have been invaluable.
