Hudson Falls High School

I didn’t realize how poor my education was until I went on to attend college. A majority of the teachers are absolutely wonderful at Hudson Falls, but the main issue is that a lot of the students are not interested in learning. Those students negatively influence the learning environment. Students are there for socialization, sports and because they have to be. Another issue with Hudson Falls is that verbal/physical bullying/harassment is common and nothing gets done about it. When students go to an adult for help they’re bullied even more than they were before. The athletic opportunities at the school are wonderful.

Worst school in NY. Don’t recommend anyone to apply. STAY AWAY

Rating would be better if every single thing I needed to do for school work wasn't blocked. They have blocked every single thing you could think of. They seriously even blocked the ability of us to changed the background on Google. Most videos are blocked on YouTube, even the educational ones are, File manager is blocked. So I can't send my teachers files, put files in a doc, put files onto a presentation. Nothing. Some teachers are great! Some are on the other side of the spectrum. The students here are loud and there was 5 fights in a day, on a Friday, first few weeks in the 2022 school year. There was even a fight before school even started LAST WEEK. We were all forced to watch a presentation where the principle even said, "Anything you bring on our property, is now our property. When you drive your car onto the provided parking lot, it is now our property and we can search if we want." If there is probable suspicion they are allowed to search. But otherwise, if I drive my car onto the school property and I DO NOT consent to a search you are not legally allowed to search me, or anybody else within any of the school districts. Teachers are late often and we are locked outside of a classroom for upwards of 10 minutes, school lunches have questionable milk. I say questionable because if a milk is one single day expired, it shouldn't be bad, right? Wrong, they're sour milk, and they serve this to us. We get free frozen food, and milk, but have to pay for water? This is backwards. If you have a choice, dont send your children here. Teachers here complain behind other students back about what that student identifies as. I heard it, they do it in the rooms, without that kid but with 30 others.

This school is a joke on many levels. They will find themselves in a lawsuit soon enough. I don’t have enough space to type everything here. I think the score overall says enough.
