Mrs. Kleinman pushes the staff to work for better teaching methods, she tries to be proactive with problems and has increased the community involvement with our school. Most of teachers my children had were B+ and above. Special staff Mrs. Walsh, Mrs O, Miss Schafer, Mrs. I, Mrs. Pantano

It took 4 hours before my daughter received a call from the Principal alerting her to the accident. As a form educator and a parent who has lost a child in a motor vehicle accident, this is unacceptabl

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePreschool program at Slocum is outstanding. I believe it is run by NYS SCOPE but I must say the teachers and assistants there are giving my grandchild the best preschool experience I could ever expect. As a retired teacher I know quality when I see it. My grandson loves going to school and is so excited about learning. This is due to the nurturing care and educational experiences Mrs M & Mrs P put into their classes. They have set the foundation for a positive learning experience that will continue throughout their future school years. Teacher quality does make a difference.
