Overall its a wonderful school district. Like any other small town/district it has its issues, which mostly stems from the mentality of the parents and not the school district itself.

My child went to HES for 4.5 years before I pulled him out. First, the leadership at the school is a joke, there is no leadership. This is a less than mediocre school. HES has many caring and supportive individuals on their team (teachers, school staff, those in leadership, PTA, and bus drivers). My child is doing well academically and socially. My child and I feel welcomed in the school, treated with respect and kindness. Great experience overall.
