Armor Elementary has it all — passionate teachers, an emphasis on high effort and not worrying about making mistakes. Kids will grow academically and emotionally. The AES community is terrific!

Between the fatal food allergies of my child to the segregation because of those allergies made her a target for teasing. To which the Principle has the Gaul to say

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved into the district when my kids were in 1,2 and 5th grade. My kids were well below grade average and had been bullied at their old school. Big Tree staff are excellent!! Even though 2 of my children repeated a grade, the staff works hard, communicates my children needs and my children are happy and learning! 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Average3 kids in and I love South Davis so much. They have outdoor recess almost every day. Homework is very reasonable — 10 minutes per grade (20 minutes for a second grader). The teachers have all been great and caring. They catch any potential areas of concern before they become problems. The principal is very kind and involved. Great PTO that provides many enrichment opportunities. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to this school as a child and my daughter went from k-5. This school goes above and beyond for their students. They kept kids in class during covid, which had a huge impact on their education. They always keep you updated on any events taking place or any concerns. The communication with parents is incredible. They offered lots of clubs, orchestra and band, and their amazing annual play. I’m surprised they don’t have a higher rating. My daughter received a great education and the staff is incredible. My daughter made so many connections from friends, teachers, the YMCA, and security.
