Cortland Junior Senior High School

I went to this school from kindergarten to 6th grade. I was bullied all throughout my years there. I talked to my teachers about it; they said that if it happened again to tell them and they would do something about it. I told them. Nothing happened. I would not suggest sending your children here. The students are very judgemental and disrespectful. Cortland Highschool isn't a very good place either. Thats why our family moved out of the district.

St. Mary's school is an amazing educational institution for the Cortland NY area. Not only does my son love going to school, but the fact he can go to school in a setting that encourages him to live his faith without fear is amazing. Many of the teachers are lifelong St. Mary's staff and parents as well which says a lot about their dedication to the school. The education the students receive and graduate with is outstanding and puts them in a very good position for when they leave and transition to Middle School. The Parent's Guild is a wonderful opportunity for parents to stay involved in the school and a great way to give back to the SMS family. As a parent, I have never regretted and have always stood firm in my decision to send my child to SMS!
