A teacher in the first grade drove my son almost to a nervous breakdown, and then the school recognized him as a developmental lagging behind. The school staff tricked me into signing the documents and transferred the child to a special class. Despite the fact that 6 months before that, he was one of the best in the Russian school. My daughter is in the high school so I cant vouch for the elementary division. in my experience I find the principal oblivious to what's going on in the school. I met with the principal several times to resolve issues I had with my daughter in school instead of resolving them she just exasperated the issues and than blamed my daughter. Like any school there are some good teachers who are caring and some not good teachers who just want to do there job.
