My son is in first grade now and he has improved a lot here, in terms of his mathematical, critical thinking and linguistic abilities. One thing that impressed me, as a newcomer to this city, is the lesson tailored just to your child. I mean, if a student's ability is above the average, then the teachers could give more challenging tasks for him, compared to the others. In that sense, I just can't blindly trust the average ranking of the school because it tells nothing about how our children will perform in school.Overall, I recommend this school to everybody lives in the neighborhood. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was one of the original parents who fought for the opening of this community school back in 1990s. The starting issue was the overcrowding situation of students in P.S. 7 in Cypress Hills, Brooklyn in which building was functioning elementary and upper grades classes. The school was too small for their over growing student population. It took several years for this new building to open to the community. I am very happy to see our fruit of our labor!
