Stillwell Ave Prep & Nursery School

As a parent, I can honestly say this school has provided a positive and supportive environment for my child. The staff is caring, attentive, and truly invested in helping students grow both academically and personally.The school maintains strong communication with families and creates a welcoming atmosphere where students feel encouraged and motivated to succeed. I’ve seen tremendous growth in my child’s confidence, learning, and overall happiness since attending this school.The administration and teachers work hard every day to ensure students are safe, challenged, and supported. We are grateful to be part of a school community that genuinely cares about its students and families.

There are good teachers in this school for sure. But based on my experience, people who work here have no patience, no enthusiasm to teach, they just do not care about kids in general. The school doesn't have daily outdoor activities time. No communication to parents. I would suggest to avoid this school if you can.

My children attended this school and graduated recently. This is the best school in the neighborhood. The teachers are all experienced (some even attended PS 215 when they were kids) and there is a strong focus on teaching the whole child. My kids had lessons on social-emotional learning and had opportunities for leadership roles. The academics are strong and many of the 5th graders get accepted to District 21 magnet middle schools. The new principal has been there for a few years and she is very involved. I always saw her in the schoolyard at dismissal saying hello to families and taking the time to speak with parents. I was very happy with the experience my kids had at PS 215.
