St As is a great Parish and Catholic school the staff ,teachers , priests and nuns are great and kind. Ms Silvana; the speech therapist is very knowledgeable and devoted individual who puts a great deal of professionalism and care i to her work
Posted by a community member on 7/31/2025Overall I would NOT Recommend this school. Children get overlooked. I am very disappointed with there approach on misbehavior and disorder in the classrooms. :( would have expected better coming from a Catholic School.
Posted by a parent on 6/21/2018My son start it here from Pre K, now his in 5th grade and still love the School. The stuff is nice even the principal. I didn't mention the priest Monsignor who is excellent, caring, and very helpful to everyone. God bless them all.
Posted by a parent on 5/1/2017Visiting St. A's this week was a feast, as a long time graduate, I can appreciate the many positive changes. I am also thankful for the time the principal took to show me around to my boy's future classroom. Looking forward to next year.

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKindergarteners are not being taught to read or write in this school. Children who are more than capable of doing so are not being challenged to meet their capabilities. Meanwhile kindergarteners from surrounding schools are both reading and writing sentences. The worst school experience from all of our friends, kids from any other school are progressing much better than kids in this school. We applied because it was convenient, new playground was built- suggesting the school is getting appropriate funding, and the rating when we applied was 8/10 unlike 5/10 as it currently is. From what I'm hearing they also got rid of the library where kids could borrow books.The after school program in this school take the kids outside once a week, they copy the homework down when completing it. The summer rising program they offer don't take the kids out on any field trips like other program do. At one point they replied that they used to take kids out on field trips but not anymore. 7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy nephews and my son went to that school. they are not happy, cause this school teachers have No patients and don’t care about kids feelings. But based on my experience, people who work here have no patience, no enthusiasm to teach, they just do not care about kids in general. The school doesn't have daily outdoor activities time.
