My daughter 2nd year at this school and we are happy to say that she enjoys going to school and especially attending the afterschool program “Right at School” she is a 1st grader and I would like to thank you to the educators that care for her, thank you for doing an awesome job!

This is a wonderful school. My children are current students and love school. The teachers, parent coordinator, and administration are amazing. The extra curricular offerings are great. The school community is diverse and lovely. My children have thrived at ps 230.

Full marks. It's the best school I attended.

P.S. 230 is a GREAT school! The teachers are very involved with their students, the PTA is absolutely outstanding, the Parent Coordinator is so friendly & super helpful & the Principal & Vice Principal are always visible & always looking to do the best they can for the students! I am very impressed with everything about the school!

P.S. 230 is a wonderful school with a lot of school pride and spirit. Every teacher is top-notch- there are never teachers that people whisper that you should avoid. They are all good. The diversity is really enriching for the kids- I didn't realize how much I would appreciate that aspect. There is a new Principal this year who is very approachable and invested. She's really great. the PTA is getting stronger but it is tough with a school where a lot of the families are low-income. Bt the school puts a huge amount of effort into making sure that everyone has equal opportunities. The PTA funds an afterschool program and an Art Enrichment program which the kids love. There is a lot of focus on testing- but whats the alternative? It's unfortunate but they want the kids to get into good middle schools. They aren't "pro-testing"- they're just trying to provide each kid with the tools to do as well as possible in today's environment.
