Posted by a parent on 4/2/2014GHM is a great school. I decided to send my son there because I attended the school from 3rd to 8th grade. It was a wonderful experience. The teachers take their time with the students, and the principal is amazing. They care about the kids, it's not just a job for them.
Posted by a parent on 7/17/2013This is an excellent school with a vast array of educational and fun activities available to children from Pre-K through Grade 8. My child has attended this school since Pre-K and was reading beginner books by the first marking period. His teacher demonstrated patience, persistence, and consistency in her regiment for the classroom. She drilled into them the ethics of work first and play later. My son still follows that discipline four years later. My husband and I only pray that he continues on this path. All of the teachers show a unique interest in each child and work together with the parents, principal, and other faculty to develop a plan to strengthen each child's weaknesses and promote their strengths. It is a loving and encouraging enviornment. The curriculum at this school is a little more advanced than the average public school, but is still attainable for those transferring from a public school (if they apply themselves). The tuition is reasonable compared to the teacher/student ratio and the results that have been achieved academically as well as his personal spiritual and developmental growth. He will attend this school until he graduates from 8th grade!
Posted by a parent on 8/13/2011Academiclly its a good place of learning, Too expensive for not enough resources for the children in the lower grades, The staff in the office are not pleasant. its a shame because the Principla is great. Hes always smiling and shows great leadership. very pleasant.. I hope they get more activities soon for the little ones
Posted by a parent on 7/27/2011Excellent school. I have another granddaughter in this school. She too has been in the school since Pre-k, and is doing very well. She will miss her big sister since she recently graduated. She loves going to this school great faculty. Principal Forrest is wonderful, he knows the personality of each child in the school and treat them as an individual. His motto is "Excellence is not an act, but a habit" and works. Love the school.

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers at this school are very invested in the students. The administration (nearly all-white) gives a lot of lip service to anti-racism, but treats students differently based on race, especially in regards to punishment. The principal is totally unreceptive to actually changing any policies which is extremely disappointing.Parent Review3y ago - Urban Assembly Academy Of Arts And Letters

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school has amazing community. Diverse and engaged. The school hosts community gathering regularly and you feel how special it is. In fact there were some parents tearing up just being part of it and feeling how beautiful the community is. Parents are relaxed and very supportive of each other. My kid enjoys the school and excited to go everyday!Parent Review4mo ago - Ps 25 Eubie Blake School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am proud to say that I am a member of The Eubie Blake family. The Eubie Blake school has a dedicated team of educators and administrators that work hand in hand to provide social, emotional and academic support to help students achieve their highest potential. Throughout the school day, students are rigorously engaged in learning by engaging in discussions, asking questions, working in collaboration, and sharing their strategies. In addition to core subject areas, the students are rigorously taught and engaged computers, music and movement, and physical education. All students at PS 25 learn to Code using programming and with the fully equipped STEM lab, the upper grade students learn Robotics. The school provides a family oriented environment where every child is respected, appreciated, loved and welcomed. Students at The Eubie Blake school are eager to learn and share their ideas. The administration also provides many opportunities for the students to engage and encourage students to pursue their dreams by organizing Cool Men Read and Diva Darlings Day, Career Day, Multicultural Day, Spring Festivals and monthly assemblies. The school has an after school program and help all students to engage in extra curricular activities such as basketball, cheerleading, health and wellness programs. The administration is very supportive of the teachers and provides the educators with many professional development opportunities. Also, they encourage and provide guidance for educators to create new strategies to help their students. At The Eubie Blake School, it’s all about the students.Other Review4y ago - Brighter Choice Community School
