Bedford Stuyvesant Prepretory High School

Test scores cannot reflect my children's experience in this school. There is a caring and nurturing environment which I think is essential for young children. There is structure and there is discipline. The principal fights constantly to keep the arts and science in the school. My kids have visual art, drama, music and science.

The school is a wonderful school the staff does a good job but I feel if they get rid of the PTA board that they have the school will be more Great

I was a student here and they did not let me go to graduation and yes i passed and made me sit in the main office 3 years straight for lunch so yea eat wieners

The teachers at this school are very invested in the students. The administration (nearly all-white) gives a lot of lip service to anti-racism, but treats students differently based on race, especially in regards to punishment. The principal is totally unreceptive to actually changing any policies which is extremely disappointing.

The school has amazing community. Diverse and engaged. The school hosts community gathering regularly and you feel how special it is. In fact there were some parents tearing up just being part of it and feeling how beautiful the community is. Parents are relaxed and very supportive of each other. My kid enjoys the school and excited to go everyday!

The teachers and administrators genuinely care about the development of my child. They go above and beyond.
