This is a terrible school! A school that breaks the psyche of children. Teachers give too little and demand too much. Endless tests every week. Parents are forced to do their children's homework! Children are driven to nervous breakdowns. The director covers for his teaching staff, yells at children and at unbearable parents. Never send your children to this school!

This school has very rude staff ! This school has rude recess staff that yell because we are whispering to our best friends while they are talking and they also have safety rules that the school made up and are not safety rules and they are just some random rules that give us the worst and boring recess and the staff really need to understand what kids experience at school everyday! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

My experience at this school has been a long one. My oldest daughter who is now 23 went to PS 225 starting from the 6th grade and to be honest, I chose this school out of convenience since I had a 5-year-old. I can admit that when my oldest daughter was in this school the communication was poor and the safety agents were super nasty. Fast forward to today, my 5-year-old graduated from the 8th grade in 2021 and my son is now in the 4th grade. The principal we have now does so much for the students I am impressed at how many beautiful changes he has made, with adding programs to the middle school. Giving afterschool support to students who are struggling and giving sports to the students. He brought Russian dual language to the school and VR learning with science and math for middle school. If your child does not go to this school and you are in the neighborhood you should be asking how can your child be enrolled. The staff is helpful and everyone is outside during arrival and dismissal. You will get greeted by a dean, ap, school counselor, or even the principal. There is even a welcoming PTA.

It’s so hard to find people you can truly trust with your kids, but this school and these teachers really care. They teach important life skills like kindness and respect, while making learning both educational and fun. They’re building structure, responsibility, and setting the kids up for success. We’re so grateful we found them! This is definitely a great school.

I graduated from Ahi-Ezer in 1981. Went on to succeed at Yeshiva of Flatbush HS and Baruch College. I attribute my success to hardworking parents and my teachers at Ahi-Ezer. They gave their all to help us learn not just Hebrew and English subjects; but how to bentsh birkat hamazon, how to daven every word, and even how to make a Seder for Pesach.

We are incredibly happy with our experience at Mazel Day School! From the moment we enrolled our son, we felt welcomed and supported by the dedicated staff and warm community. The teachers are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely care about each child's growth and well-being.The curriculum is engaging and enriching, striking a perfect balance between academics and Jewish values. Our son has made wonderful friends and has grown so much, both academically and personally.We appreciate the school's commitment to creating a nurturing environment where our child feels safe and inspired to learn. We couldn't ask for a better educational experience for our family. Highly recommend Mazel Day School to any parents looking for a caring and supportive school!
