Read what parents are saying about Attica Senior High SchoolThis school's teachers with a few exceptions are very nice, and some students are okay. Admin doesn't care about your kids at all, claim that by cutting teaching positions and classes, which result in bigger class sizes and less help per individual student, it won't come at a detriment to students. If your kid is white, this school is probably gonna be fine, but if not, your kid is in for a ton of bullying and snide comments. People who aren't white also get more severe punishments than white people too. If it weren't for my few good friends and teachers I like, I would have gone somewhere else a long time ago. Parents were able to ban a GSA, so not LGBT+ friendly either in general. Nothing is being done about the drug problem, counselors do not keep conversations confidential (which I think is illegal) and teachers in general do nothing when bullying is happening right in front of them. Overall, not worth it unless you're white and straight, then I guess it's fine.
Posted by a student on 9/1/2022After having my children attend a private school for most of their schooling I was a bit hesitant in a public school education. I’m pleased to say that I’m happy with the change and that all my children receive a great education at this school. The principle, teachers, and staff have all been wonderful and really do a great job at providing the best education and opportunities for their students. I can honestly say from the elementary school allthe way up to the highschool I have never encountered any negative feelings. Keep up the great work Attica!!!
Posted by a parent on 6/27/2020The Attica schools have been a great experience for myself, my siblings and my family. The school district is very warm and caring for all of their students and offers kids a great opportunity to excel. With their good mix of academics, extracurricular activities, and sports, I found that throughout my entire time at the school I was offered all that I could have asked for. I would recommend this school to any young family trying to decide where their kids should go. They will not be disappointed.

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has attended here for 4 years, the first 3 years he had to have multiple teachers because "permanent employees" were pregnant and out from October to March each year. Every staff member tells me my son is advanced, yet they refuse to test him in to a higher grade or at least provide him advanced coursework. Plenty of focus on 8 year olds who can't hold a pencil correctly, but no support for kids who are gifted. Also, the bus transportation is terrible. Most kids have to walk, but there is only 1 crossing guard in the entire village. There is no bus loop at the elementary school, the buses will block entry and exit daily. Staff will yell at you if you go in the wrong part of the parking lot, yet the parking lot is not labeled. Elementary students have to sit on the bus and wait for highscoolers to load, or unload. Your kindergarten will be on the bus with a senior, often for over 1.5 hours. It's NOT safe.Parent Review5mo ago
