Posted by a parent on 4/5/2023Wish I can give it no stars, this schools a pure mess period.
Posted by a parent on 7/15/2021The school overall appeared to have teachers and staff who were friendly and professional, but in contrast, I found one of the administrators, Jennifer Hamby, to be less than professional.
Posted by a teacher on 8/20/2018Awful, they let bullying happen while blaming the kids getting picked on

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was so excited to get my son into this school. He is a huge fan of the arts and excels at them. Unfortunately his first year here (1st) COVID put a stop to it. I was very unhappy with the children not being allowed to attend school in person, but I did end up loving his teacher (Ms. Chickering) who was amazing! I was excited when they got to go back, even though it was with masks on their faces (abuse). Then finding out they were getting an extra month I was very happy because my son needed it. Little did I know that would be cut short by emotional abuse from the staff. Convincing children who are not sick that they are is wrong. Allowing a sick child in and then punishing all the others because of their mistake. My son is not sick and would not be sent if he was, yet he is being forced to miss school which he loves or be sent to the “sick room”. A healthy child being sent to a room for those who are sick. My healthy son was forced to leave school crying and asking me what he did wrong that he had to leave. These administrators have no interest in what is best for these students. They should be removed from their positions for being abusive to children.Parent Review2y ago - Jo Mackey Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere has been a lot of bulling from the students and even the teachers. The teachers would talk badly about the students sometimes calling then names and one special needs teacher has been seen multiple times yelling at students and talking bad about her own students about how they smell amd how they can't do anything right. In some cases a lot of students bulling would go on so badly that a lot of kids left the school after being threatened to getting beaten up. I would not recommend this school because of their rules with dress code and dress coding almost all the females and some times males for having something "inappropriate" on their "free" dress day sexulazing them over their body type. (Note most of one's getting dress coded were in appropriately outfits).Other Review7mo ago - Lincoln Elementary School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school gets additional funding for being a one-star school and lacks books my other son's 5-star school gets less funding and has more books and resources than this school (direct observation)! Their financial statements should be audited because I can't see the funds going to the kids (personally). If I were zoned for this school I would get a zone variance. 1-star schools are so far below average how can you expect your child to learn. They are the bottom of the National averages. Safety - 2 words - School lockdowns for hours with no communication on if the child is safe. Teachers are instructed to not answer the parent's text or call in lockdown. The special ed program just wants you to keep your child in the program and make up reports to keep getting the funding. The Special ED teacher said he would edit his report and never did!Parent Review1y ago - H P Fitzgerald Elementary School
