My daughters have gone to Darnell Elementary for 3 years. The teachers and staff are amazing. My daughters come home everyday raving about their learning and the activities they do at the school. They showed huge growth in their academics as proven by their test scores and grades. I would recommend

Walking in you feel welcomed and comfortable. My kids have been going there for 3 years now and I have nothing but great things to say about Darnell.

Posted by a parent on 7/11/2025First of all this school does not do anything with bullying a kid could be getting bullied and they would do nothing about it. its actually crazy how the lessons are absolutely boring in our map testing most of the kids went down in reading and up in math even the smartest people I know went down in

Our experience here has been overwhelmingly positive. My older daughter is a straight A student who has consistently felt supported, encouraged, and celebrated by both her peers and teachers. She was even honored for her talents by winning the school-wide art contest and having her artwork featured on the yearbook cover, a moment that meant so much to our family.My younger daughter is currently in kindergarten and recently scored in the top 5% of all students at her grade level, which speaks volumes about the quality of instruction and attention she receives.The staff and teachers at this school have shown genuine care and dedication, not just academically but emotionally as well. My daughters feel safe, seen, and inspired every day they walk into this building.I won’t discredit another parent’s experience, but I do want to add that our experience as a Black family has been one of inclusion, encouragement, and high expectations.
