Our child had her first year of Kindergarten here at Don Hayden Elementary school and we had a great experience. Her teacher was awesome with all things considered this year was hard for everyone with COVID, but the staff made it bearable and stress free. Looking forward to next year in first grade!

The teachers really care about the kids and can easily communicate with parents via Class Dojo. This has helped me talk with my son about his day. They have fun family events. My child LOVES having his own computer

From what i can see the teachers in each grade level work as a team, which i think is best for our students. Posted by a parent on 4/29/2015This school is FANTASTIC. My daughter teaches there and the summer reading assignment No Complaints from Ivy the principal was the best read ever. It helped me in my job. I would love to work under Ivy and I am very excited for a great school year for Don E Hayden school.

My son was bullied by a classmate in 1st grade,I spoke with his teacher and it was taken care of.Volunteering is welcomed, more by some teachers than others.I feel it is just as much the parents responsibility to be aware of

When the parents made the complaint, the leadership stood behind the teacher and let the teacher bullying the students. I think the leadership was care about the teachers more than the students. Not matter how bad the teacher did for the students, the leadership still blamed the students. One lady in the office named Melissa is so rude, and mean. Asking her a question is like asking her to touch the sky. Why so mean to parents/visitors?
