5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son is in the 4th grade and since he's been in school he has always had a good relationship with all of his teachers and the whole staff and he always was enthusiastic about going to school but we moved to the side of town last year and the principal is great she's super nice but some of the teachers at my son has interacted with I feel like they don't need to be teachers or work with kids because they are very rude and they talk poorly to the kids and it's not good for their mental stability I know that my son has spoken about not being there next year and honestly I'm really considering switching him to another schoolParent Review1y ago9 Reviews - Walter V Long Elementary School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have so many great things to say about this school especially the office staff MARISOL MENDIOLA , ISAI HERNANDEZ, and DALIA VALENTIN they have helped me out with any questions or concerns i have had over the past years. Marisol has especially helped me with my registration process and ISAI helped me out finalizing it and with any issues I've had. I am thankful to have these wonderful staff members here working for this school and i hjope they work there forever until the end of time.Parent Review3mo ago8 Reviews - Oran K Gragson Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child was in the early childhood program. She needed speech therapy and she had other issues as well. After attending the school we discovered after testing, that her skills REGRESSED!! We discovered why when we sat in to observe. We found out that my speech delayed child was getting speech therapy in a group setting in Spanish and English!!!! We were finally able to get her out of there, but overall this school is deplorable. I don't entirely blame the faculty, nor do I blame the students. I will blame the students parents for not teaching their children some basics such as their ABC's, and 1,2,3's and ENGLISH prior to them entering kindergarten.Parent Review15y ago2 Reviews - Robert Lunt Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have three children in this school. There are two teachers which i have only good things to say about. My issue is not the teachers but the staff. Every time I've had to talk to the office staff it is a terrible experience. I leave dissapointed with their attitude, they are so rude including the principal. He is so full of himself and seems to have forgotten about why he got that job in the first place. the staff there doesn't seem to show sympathy for the children, they take their job as just a job and not as an opportunity to improve a child's scholastic opportunities. I am currently working in buying a house in a different area, i regret so much that my kids have missed out on so much help by me enrolling them at this school.Parent Review11y ago3 Reviews - William K. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageChild Endangerment plus Lost Wages for Parent3.14.17- The school teacher allowed for my child to be picked up by another parent whom had never picked up my child before nor did this parent have my permission. The parent is not even listed on my child's pick up paperwork. When asked why she let my child go with the parent he response was "she picks up a lot of kids and I didn't think about it", but she have never picked up my child. And had the parent not called me I wouldn't have known what was going on.3.9.17- Without proper notification my son's classroom was changed to a new room and teacher (he was absent due to being sick) and when he didn't know what was going on and was told to go back to his classroom. He was reprimanded for going into the wrong class (in which he didn't know what was going on)2.14.17- a note was sent to the teacher telling her that my so was to go to Daycare after school, but instead she choose to keep him after school for tutoring. My daycare center only makes one pick up after school. I then get a call from the school at 5:10pm while I'm at work tell me that I have 15 minutes to pick my son up from school or they are going to call Metro Police on me. But I was like he was supposed to be at Daycare I specifically sent a note to the teacher. I then had to leave work, lose 4 hours of wages, risk everything to get to my son before the police were call ed on me for this teachers mistake.Parent Review9y ago2 Reviews - Mountain View Christian Schools
