Was a student at NMSD from when I was a 2 years old to the day I graduated, so this school basically my entire educated. This school offer many opportunities and experienced that apply the real world, most importantly proud being a deaf or hard of hearing person with many successful deaf role model,
Posted by a teacher on 3/9/2019My son just started attending Kindergarten at NMSD. The classroom is a perfect learning environment. Great mix of Montessori type education and core standards. Focus is on ASL and Spoken English. Teachers and staff are very communicative.

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe school I believe does not want to listen to the parents about how the teachers conduct and integrity is lacking. The Nurse is mazing and the Kindergarten and 1st grade homeroom teachers are great. But the Principal, secretary and the PE teacher have issues that for as a parent is concerning.
