Posted by a parent on 8/29/2013I have had the pleasure to meet many people on the staff at El Cap. I have gone to several of their assemblies as well. It's not often you find a school with the same core beliefs you grew up with anymore,and it's great to see that this school still touches on those things.

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy children have attended Noah's Ark on two different occasions. This facility does not hold up to the standards that I would consider to be a Christian atmosphere. The staff is rude and my husband and I had to pay close attention to the weekly payments as we were often overcharged. Noah's Ark often argued with us about the length of time that our children were there. Many times they would call me within 15 minutes of the full day time to ask me to pick up a sick child when my child wasn't sick (no fever, diaherrea, etc.) This facility doesn't care about the children or religion. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePeople tend to be idealists, expecting Christian schools to be utopias compared to their public school counterparts. That would be great, except that Christian schools are composed of humans. As far as it goes, though, this is an above-average school. They concern themselves with the important things, and shrug off the less important ones. The chosen curriculum seems to be challenging, which is a good thing. I've taught a lot of programs over the years; I'm fairly good at spotting effective ones. Of course, it IS a Christian curriculum, so if that's not to your style, you won't like it. Over all, I'm pleased with my kids' experience at Gateway. I'm happy that Roswell has a school like this to offer.Parent Review8y ago
