My nephew has been attending this school for the past two years, and during that time, he has experienced ongoing issues with bullying from other students. Unfortunately, there have also been concerns regarding the behavior of a particular teacher. This teacher often engages in arguments with students rather than setting an example as an adult, educator, and role model. Additionally, she has failed to address the bullying or take appropriate action when incidents occur, and there appears to be a clear bias in her treatment of students.It is also concerning that the administration, including the principal, has not taken effective steps to resolve these issues. This pattern of inaction and lack of accountability has created an unhealthy and unsafe environment for students.It is crucial that changes are made. The ongoing bullying by both students and, at times, staff needs to be addressed with urgency and seriousness. Every child deserves to feel safe and supported at school.

Loma Heights has a high percentage of kids on free lunch, kids who live in a large project in district, kids from families who don't speak English. The school is meeting the needs of students and families, and scores for academics are rising as well.

All my children have attended from pre-k on. They were given a strong foundation in math and reading before moving to a public school, where they excelled above their peers. The staff is welcoming, kind and really cares about the children.
