Read what parents are saying about Washington Middle SchoolIn my opinion, I think this school needs to have more discipline because out of 7 classes in only 2 we actually do work . We hardly do anything and we spend most of our time doing nothing. The 8th grade ELA teacher should deserve a raise because she is one of the teachers that actually keep us busy. Although we have a beautiful bilingual program we really should have more WORK.

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers are wonderful. The principle is a nightmare and would rather throw children away than work with their differences.Parent Review6y ago - Escuela Del Sol Montessori School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter is in the kindergarten class and has been attending the school since she was 3. I've always appreciated how much the school keeps the parents involved and up to date with my child's studies and how she is doing in school. We get weekly emails from her teacher which is also greatly appreciated. The school has small class sizes and constantly has after school activities to keep students and parents involved. Would highly recommend.Parent Review1mo ago - Manzano Day School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an amazing school, with amazing teachers! The curriculum is wonderful and we're thrilled there is both an art and music program here. Manzano takes the time to work on each child's unique learning styles and obstacles.Parent Review4y ago - Escuela Del Sol Montessori

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son has attended EDS for six years, now in Junior High and the only Montessori at this level in the state. The care and attention to his growth academically and socially/emotionally have been even more than I hoped for. While he’s always had a strong academic spark, he struggled for years with anxiety and catching up on social/emotional skills to his peers. EDS’ environment has consistently given him the ideal balance of loving support and academic freedom, made possible by incredibly gifted teachers who do the extraordinary every day. Watching him gradually integrate his academic progress, self knowledge, friendships, and faculty relationships has been the best gift I could have hoped for as he starts his 8th year. At 13, he’s a confident learner with well-developed passions and clear ideas for his independent projects. He dives into daily group work with self awareness and joy. He can self-advocate and learn from his mistakes with resilience. He has deep friendships here that feel like they’ll transcend life beyond EDS — and we as parents are deeply connected to the other families in the Junior High. Our K-8 experience at EDS has just gotten better and better, and now we’re enjoying the very best part. EDS is a true Montessori deeply committed to putting all the needs of the child first in every way possible. This is not how education is typically done in the US, so it often requires the parents getting educated along the way — but what a gift. Things are possible in this setting that are not possible in most schools.Parent Review7mo ago - Immanuel Lutheran School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is such a wonderful school! The administration and the teachers genuinely care about the students and work very hard to ensure the students receive quality education. This is my son's first year at this school and he's learned more this years than in all the years at his previous school. I wish this school had a high school because we would stay through high school if they did. I would highly recommend this school to everyone wanting a quality education for their children! I cannot say enough good things about this school and their teachers!Parent Review1mo ago
