Lowell Elementary School

This was a great school and thought your opinion (as a parent) was important when it came to your child’s academic future but our opinion does not matter to the principal, Mr. March, who cares less. Because he has the authority, he refuses to take in consideration your child’s personal needs. He refuses to meet with you(parent) even upon requesting an appointment with him. Our children have delt with substitutes since last year (pre-k), at least 6 substitutes, which affects our children academic progress. This year (k) they are dealing with the same thing, 30 kids for I substitute and an EA. They have to stop lecturing to deal with other children not following instructions. These girls and us(parents) have had a lot of patience. Our 2 kindergartens have been through all this together and have been supporting each other since nice Pre-K, now they are separated and the principal refuses to even meet with us (parents) to discuss this situation. He is not profesional and has attitude and also intimidates you and of course because “ he made his decision, he is going to move forward” his own words. Even APS says he has the last word on this. I am now looking for a different school for our children. We are not comfortable with our children being around this principal who shows no compassion and consideration for our children needs. With a new principal this school would be a better place to enroll your children.

My son has gone to this school for three years now, and we love it! The special Ed teachers are awesome. The staff are all great, very helpful people. It's a small school but a great one, I hope we r able to go here all the way to 5th grade. It may not be a magnet school but it should be! All of the ratings I have found on different sites vary and some have large differences. I viewed gov sites and private also. All I know is we love this school. Teachers are great and the kids r happy!

This school has a strong academic program. Our daughter just graduated from St. Charles and is well prepared for her several honors classes she will be taking at her high school next year. The middle school teachers not only prepared my daughter academically, but helped her grow in her faith.

I am a proud MAS parent and my child has been at MAS since kindergarten! He is now a 10th grader and is a dual enrollment student and is thriving! He will earn an associate's degree by the time he graduates MAS! I could not be happier about this! So proud of him and grateful for MAS!

This is such a wonderful school! The administration and the teachers genuinely care about the students and work very hard to ensure the students receive quality education. This is my son's first year at this school and he's learned more this years than in all the years at his previous school. I wish this school had a high school because we would stay through high school if they did. I would highly recommend this school to everyone wanting a quality education for their children! I cannot say enough good things about this school and their teachers!
