My experience with this school is not the learning part it's the part that I have been concerned about some stuff I never got a call back. My child was accused of something she didn't do and was suspended. And the I learned that the dean yelled at my child and she didn't think it would affect her me

The new school year started and my daughter was being bullied for weeks I spoke to the principal and so called Dean so many times and they said they would take care of it but it continued, I called APS police and APS

My child was denied food and nothing was done. When she's on her phone texting her father in the hallway she gets disciplined because it's "policy". But

After three years she decided to test into St. Pius and was accepted, thanks to her preparation at John Adams. The schools in this area get a bad name. When my son got sick the school reached out to see if we needed anything and dropped of his classwork so he won't fall behind. 4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageDoors get shut/phones hung up/and phone calls never returned/no updates/ rude remarks/UNPROFESSIONALso be sure to not have any major issues because there won't be ANY resolutions. everything will get pushed aside and no steps to make changes are established WITH the parent or school for that matter.my biggest fear is losing a child and it clearly isnt important to this school because even walking into the office saying " i have child safety concerns" isn't enough to get their attention.They missplaced my 6yr old TWICE and had no idea how they lost track of my child. 8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe have been at HAW for 2 years so far and love it. My son started in Kinder and was reading by the end of the year. I feel like he has learned a lot so far! My daughter is in the prek and they both love it here and we have liked the teachers so far. So far we have had good communication with teachers through class dojo and they also allow for volunteers. We especially love the 4 day week. My son does recieve a lot of hw but I like it bc i can see his progress and what he’s doing so I’m not in the dark about his academics. They also have quite a few activities throughout the year to bring the community together. They do wear uniforms but get special days to wear other things. NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy Daughter has attended Legacy Academy since she was in preschool (K4). She is now a senior giving her 14 years in total. After having 2 older daughters attend public schools, I jokingly tell people I would sooner sell a kidney than take her out of Legacy. This is a fantastic school in every way, AP classes, NHS, Sports, Fine Arts, and much more, but the most important aspect is that it's a biblical world view with a focus on discipleship in every area. The teachers and staff are excellent and truly care about the children, their safety, and their future. I can honestly say the worst part is that her time at Legacy is coming to an end and it's doubtful we will find a college with the same values, however, I believe wholeheartedly she is well prepared for life because of her time at Legacy.Parent Review9mo ago
