The worst school my kids ever attended, felt favoritism and discrimination constantly. The kids were bullied and weren’t learning at the level they should have been. Also, never in my years have an encountered unwelcoming and unprofessionalism by staff mostly by office/front. There are better options for schools.

So my review for this school is low. My son has been at this school for about 3 weeks now. And what I have witnessed with the staff in the 3 weeks I've been here, are rude. Just witnessed a teacher yelling at a younger student. Now my son is non verbal autistic, yes kids sometimes don't listen. But that's with all kids. We leave our children in the safety of these teachers and staff to teach, show compassion, etc... Horrible!!!

This school does absolutely nothing for bullying and even ENDORSES the bullying. Even when provided with proof of physical, cyber, and verbal attacks, they took no action. Ms. Dully goes out of her way to protect and even prevent disciplinary actions. This is not the first time we've had an experience like this at this school. Almost 10 years ago we had a similar experience.

Our 3 children went to Abundant Life Christian School, for one year. We can honestly say it did WAY more harm than good. Our children were name called, kicked, hit, they witnessed extreme disobedience from other children. They also learned more about worldly things than any Christian family would be okay with. We have an extensive paper trail of all these events and MORE. The response was always they were “working on it” The last straw was our 6 year old came home asking questions about a topic that was extremely too mature for him to be asking about. He heard it at school….. we brought it up to the director and this was her response:—“Abundant Life Christian School has accepted the responsibility to be the Gospel and Christ to the students enrolled here. Through our accreditation with the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools we also accepted the calling to become an evangelical school rather than a closed school. This means we accept students who NEED the Gospel, Biblical training, an introduction to Christ, and who will come to the saving grace of Jesus Christ”Their curriculum is Christian based, so they are basically teaching one thing with the curriculum, but then allowing the students to completely show the opposite. We pay for a Christian school to have our children surrounded by like minded students, with like minded families . That definitely is not the case at this school. We went to visit almost every Christian private school in Albuquerque, some have the SAME accreditation, but were all “closed” schools meaning you had to be a Christian to attend a Christian school. We pray for this school and if they want to be an evangelical school make Christian parents aware at registration. We would have DEFINITELY passed had that been discussed, it’s completely misleading and our goal is to make it understood so other families don’t go through the hurt and damage that we did.

After enrolling my son for only three weeks, we had an extremely disappointing and concerning experience with this school. I am sharing this review to be completely transparent with other parents so they can make an informed decision.From the first day, the teachers demonstrated a lack of patience and sympathy. The special needs program, which we were repeatedly assured was in place to support my son, proved to be a complete joke. When we met with the school, they admitted they have no special needs program and suggested he go elsewhere.Our primary issues centered on the school's communication and a complete lack of organization: * Failure to acknowledge special needs: Despite my repeatedly informing the school and providing his IEP, it was never on file. On multiple occasions, teachers were completely unaware that my son had special needs. * Constant, trivial complaints: My son's teachers would text me 2-3 times a day for three weeks about minor behaviors, such as him spinning around or saying he was the wrong age. * Unprofessional staff: The receptionists were extremely rude. During a meeting, one teacher repeatedly smirked at me and the principal, which was disrespectful and highly unprofessional. * Complaining about a positive trait: One of the complaints was that my son was "too sweet." They were concerned that he wanted to help pass out papers. It is ridiculous for a school to consider a child wanting to help a negative behavior.After our experience, I understand why other parents had warned me about this school. It is my hope that this review helps another family avoid a similar situation.
