Chelwood Elementary School

It’s just gross to hear student can’t elope and will not be punished in anyway for hitting teachers or leaving class. Where is the safety when you don’t even teach them to stay in class. Drawing with students after they assault their teachers at 5+ years old is absolutely unacceptable. I think this school doesn’t actually want to support the kids or teachers, just to calm things down for the moment but wonder why results in class are poor and teachers are leaving in hordes

If you have a kid that requires a bit of extra attention I suggest this is not that school. Found out they had my kid playing with toys meanwhile they had other kids learning. Just because he struggles with focusing.

Once high school is a terrible high school, the staff care more about punishing. The kids didn’t actually taking care of them and teaching them. The deans are terrible. The principal was terrible overall it was a terrible experience for me and my kids save yourself trouble and transfer your kids out of the school if you can.

This school was a nightmare. One child was bored out of their mind and the other child was bullied constantly with no adult intervention. I had several meetings with the principal (when she would show up) and they were a joke. I had to pull my kids out after weeks of trying to find any resolution and no support. Icing on the cake was two months later I tried to substitute there for a sped class and they canceled the job and removed me from seeing sub jobs there. Stay away.

Tomasita E.S has been a great school and they have wonderful teacher even though some parents are negative about it because they can’t get their way but over all the teachers and staffs work so hard for our kids to be successful.
