Read what parents are saying about Green-Fields Elementary SchoolThis is my childs 1st yr at this school. From the 1st day it has been a nightmare. The staff and teachers dont give you straight answers, if they answer you at all. They send you through loops. My childs teacher yells at them, doesnt help them when they need help, tells them they are "BAD". 'CLEARLY' you can tell this teacher is a sub until the end of november, only cares about money not the children. I think that for where we live in west deptford that they need to change everything again and move the children back around to whatever school is closer to where they live. I was always impressed with the others schools. I DRED sending my child in every day. SEND OUR CHILDREN BACK TO THE OTHER TWO SCHOOLS. My youngest daughter will never go to this school. If you don t care about your job as a principal , teacher, and staff then you should not have the job you have. This is our childrens education!! We want the best expierance that they can have, not to be told they are bad or not help them when they are having a problem understanding something. My child came home and told he that the teacher threw a coat at one of the students, AND THIS IS WHAT THE SCHOOL WANTS TO BE KNOWN FOR :(.
Posted by a parent on 10/28/2011I would say as a parent Greenfields School is terrible, The aides are nasty to the kids, The office people are also nasty and the problems there are never taken care of as a parent don;t move to west deptford the schools are really going down hill.
Posted by a parent on 5/14/2011I am very dis-pleased about the school...My child is in his 1st year w/ the school and he has had a very trouble time w/ the transition w/ the grade level schooling. The principle and Guidence conselor still has not attempted to make it a good transition...I know the principle is only in his second year and he and the guidence conselor shows that they just don't have what it takes to deal w/ elementary kids w/ the inexperiance. They need to either go in to a high school and work w/ older kids or learn to deal w/ younger children.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt has been excellent so far. Ms. Houten & Ms. Wood (my daughters preschool teachers) and Ms. Seixas (my other daughter’s kindergarten teacher) are so kind, caring, and effective teachers that appear to lead with the knowledge and emotional intelligence you’d want in teachers, especially at these early stages of a student’s academic career. From the principal to the nurse to the office administrator — they are all very kind and very efficient. Top project managers in their fields may even learn a thing or two after seeing them in action during loading the kids into busses afterschool while making her kids are matched with the right pick-up parent! We are still relatively new to the area, and the state, really, and my kids love the school and their experience thus far, and as a mother of four children, I couldn’t be happier.Parent Review4y ago
