This school does not prepare students for college. It is particularly lacking in its treatment of special education students as well. Teachers and classes need a complete overhaul.

I had three kids all go through Lakeland. All different levels of learning- but all good kids who tried hard and worked to their best abilities. The school was (overall) a decent place for them to learn. Obviously, as with everything… there are some teachers that are better than others. But overall

Overall, we have been pleased. Like anything, you get out what you put in. Our child has chosen to participate in clubs and athletics to become well-rounded. He works hard and is challenged by the work.
