Read what parents are saying about Emerson Middle SchoolAs a student of Emerson Middle School I like my school because their are many supportive people and many people to help you with your academic grades and councilors and guidance councilors who help the student too. I feel that the hard working person I am is based on the teachers and other important staff who help the students stay on track, for example the dean of students, Mr. Abatto, the principal Mr. Cerum, and vice principal Mr. Rivera.

Posted by a community member on 1/7/2017These kids are shoved into overcrowded classes, and the ones that cannot keep up are discarded seemingly, by shuffling around their classes and putting options into place that are never followed up on... Very poor follow through.

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love this school! My son is autistic and honestly his teachers are amazing. They have so much patience with the kids. They try to teach them and learn new things everyday. I had seen a change in my son, he has learned new things and I'm amazed at the things he can do since he is non verbal and he never done those things before. I also love the fact that this school and any school in Weehawken teaches kids how to treat kids with disability with the same respect as kids with no disability.
