St Michael Parish School

The school is very quiet and organized. My daughter been going there since 2nd grade she is now going to 5th grade. The atmosphere is very family oriented. The principal has an open door policy which is comforting as a parent. The school is definitely a 5 star facility.

My son has been attending St. Michael since the 2020-2021 school year. Students were on a hybrid schedule that year, and I have to say, his teacher, Ms. Brown, did a wonderful job making sure the students were ready for Middle School. This year, my son is in 6th Grade and again, all his teachers are getting him ready for academic success. The principal, Ms. Scicolone, is an amazing individual running the school. I love to see how my son completes school work on his own and studies on his own. I credit the teachers for this because they are making sure the students love the learning process, which is the secret to academic achievement and a solid foundation for continuous learning. Needless-to-say, I am thankful to God for leading us to St. Michael's Parish School in Union, NJ.

My husband and I checked out the school during open house to possibly send our kids there, but it was a horrible experience. The student that gave us a tour was great but the 5th grade teacher was not very accommodating at all. She didn't even introduce herself and did not give us any information at all! My husband and I were very disappointed!

My child started at St. Michael's this September in PreK. So far it's been a bumpy road. From his teachers poor communication to the quality of their aftercare, I am disappointed with the school. One good note is that my child has come a long way with his vocabulary since he started in September. I will update at the end of the class year.
