Our FAMILY began in the lower school and has continued through high school. What starts our as a nurturing and coddling environment, transitions into a high school where our girls become dynamic young women of promise.... model citizens ready to take on the world and well equipped to do so! Yes, the girls move on to quite an impressive list of colleges, and that is a measure of success, however, what Oak Knoll teaches them outside of academics is not measurable... As a parent, i will be forever grateful for Oak Knoll's help in teaching our children to be the best they can be, and paying forward all that they can.

I am a parent of 2 girls at Oak Knoll and I believe my girls are real ambassadors of how wonderful the school is. Each day, I see the totality of what OKS offers, in them. The faculty and staff are like family, the care they exude is ever so natural and nurturing. Don t get me started on the academics. In the lower school, the classes are interwoven. I was so intrigued to learn that in the 6th grade, as the origin of the Golden Ratio was being taught in Math, the students were also being shown in Arts, how it was applied to the Mona Lisa painting, it s application in the Renaissance era in Social Studies, reference was made to the concept in Science, and even in the Library classes. As for the nurturing environment, you can sense the importance of core values in the school, it only takes one visit to feel it in the air. The students are also exposed to practical religious tenets, helping those in need, etc. I honestly can't say enough about Oak Knoll. I encourage readers who are searching for schools for their children, to visit their website at www.oakknoll.org or give them a call. There is no amount of investment too much to build a solid foundation for our gifts (our children).

I went to this school from grades 7-12. As an Asian American from an urban area, it was certainly difficult to adjust. I was in culture shock...so many white people. All of the faculty and staff (well...most), do their best to make you feel welcome and comfortable in this environment... especially if you are of color. This school has a beautiful setting with people who strive to make everyone in the community feel a part of a huge family. Amazing education and experience overall.

As a recent Oak Knoll alum, I can honestly say going to OKS changed my life. I developed confidence as well as strong moral values while receiving a great education. The connections you make - with classmates, faculty, friends and family of the community, etc - are unparalleled. Without the preparation at Oak Knoll, I would not have gotten into my top choice college or have been as prepared as I was. Going to OKS was actually my parents' idea, but it turned out to be the best decision they could have made for me, and I will be forever grateful to them.
