Small hometown school with family values and teachers that truly care about our kids. Everyone knows everyone and that's the way we like it. Administration has made poor choices through the years but we are looking forward to our new superintendent and hopefully a new dynamic principal. The BA needs to change as she doesn't do her job and gets involved in small things that do not need her attention. Spends way too much time favoring a small click of teachers. Doesn't return calls or emails. She's rarely at work. You will find her sitting behind stacks and stacks of papers when she is working. Obviously trying to look busy but accomplishes nothing because those papers have sat there for years! Hire someone that is truly invested in this school not a Barbie doll that prances around in heels and short skirts driving a new top of the line SUV making triple digits!

The staff/administration is overall trash, the decisions they make are just ridiculous, uniforms were the worst thing they could of ever introduce. I was treated like trash, my class was treated like trash. The students are treated like muppets. The way the teachers teach the subjects makes the students uninterested, and grades will drop because of that. Change the Administrative team, get rid of uniforms, and do something about the bullied kids.

Administration is worse then ever before. The board is well aware of the issues here but have no intention of doing a thing about them. Several families are removing their children from this school, and I am one of them. Until this school gets a good administrator who cares about the issues, this school will continue to flounder and be a place no one wants to send their child. I have spoken with several teachers and they are actively looking for another place to work. This is not a place you should send your child.

Read the reviews they are as accurate as they come. Nothing has changed. The teachers treat the kids horribly. There is no consequence for teachers and staffs actions towards students. Constantly told it will be looked into but nothing ever comes of it. The students are disrespectful, there is no consequence for their behavior. Staff is aware of fights before they happen and still try nothing to stop them. There have been multiple fights this year alone, female staff will stand by and watch and wait for a male to break it up. Cops and ambulances being called a result. Teachers are negligent when inserting grades into the system resulting in failing grades and kids having to redo papers two to three times. The failing grades affect what courses your child will and will not be eligible for in high school. Parents are pulling their kids out of this school for good reason, I am one of them. Do your due diligence, ask around the town about Deerfield township elementary.

The issue with this school is jones does nothing but sit in his office all day, ask him a question and watch him squirm. Galasso does nothing with discipline and is always on her phone texting, just watch her at a school function she can't be bothered with kids. So Tanya creamer is being allowed to run this school into the ground and run great teachers into early retirement and to other districts. I asked for extra support from these "coaches" and was informed that it's not their job....get your kids out now!
