Yeshiva K'tana has become the largest institution of its kind in the Passaic area due to the efficiency of its administration and the dedication of its teachers. Class sizes are kept reasonable and the teachers take a deep interest in each child. Every year, my wife and I marvel at the high quality of the educational staff.

Collegiate is a family run school that doesn't care about education. The curriculums and textbooks are years behind. Students aren't prepared according to the current educational standards for their grade level. Older students spend half the time lounging around and aren't prepared well for a life beyond high school. The school doesn't care about prepping its students to get into college and succeeding there. The current headmaster received her job from her mother who was the headmaster before her. She now employs her daughters, family friends, and college students who have little to no teaching experience as teachers. Private schools should have knowledgeable and experienced teachers and good resources for classes and extracurriculars. They should be places that guides your children as they grow into young adults. This school is more like a baby sitting service. Don't waste your money there.

This school does NOTHING about bullying teachers or students.

I went to school here in the mid-nineties, and graduated 8th grade with honors. This school really prepared us for high school, so much so that everyone that I went to school with got placed in advanced/honors classes in HS. I can't say enough what an amazing and wonderful experience it was to go to this school. I'm heart broken that it closed. I would've loved for my children to have gone here.
