St. Christopher School

My child went to St. Elizabeth Nursery and Montessori School. The school is amazing! The sisters and teachers are excellent, kind, and loving! They even provide after care until 5:30 pm. After that, the sisters would take the students to the convent up the hill where the students can sit, relax, and given snacks while waiting for the parents to pick them up. For those who thought the students being brought up to the convent as a bad thing, well, as a parent, you have the choice to pick up your child before 5:30 pm. We should be thankful that the sisters accommodate our needs and not calling DCP&P formerly known as DFYS for not picking up our child on or before time. So, overall, this is an amazing school. I was blessed to have my child taught by these amazing faculty.

The best decision we made for our son was enrolling him in this school.He started here in Preschool 3, and from day one, we’ve been so touched by the love, care, and warmth from everyone- from the principal to the teachers, and even the fellow parents. It truly feels like a community where everyone looks out for each other and works together for the good of the kids.We’re so grateful to be part of it, and there’s no doubt in our hearts that this will be our son’s school home for the years to come.

Sending my daughter to Apple Montessori of Morris Plains was the best choice we have made in her young life so far. This school has significantly contributed to my daughter’s early learning and development. At the heart of the classroom are her dedicated educators: Mrs. Rasdell, Mr. Wagner, Mrs. Platt, Ms. Docherty and Mrs. Llanos – who bring a wealth of knowledge and compassion to the classroom each day. The Montessori approach to learning has nurtured my daughter’s curiosity and independence, equipping her with both academic foundations and vital life skills such as cooperation, respect, and self-discipline. The long tenure of teacher Mrs. Rasdell at the school speaks volumes about the stability and enduring values upheld here. She, along with the rest of the staff, including the great administrators Ms. Rathjens and Ms. Yun, make sure everything runs smoothly and that the kids are happy and safe.I trust this team immensely with my daughter’s education and well-being. The growth I have witnessed in her—academically, socially, and personally—is a testament to the effective and nurturing environment they provide. I am confident that this school is not just teaching her what to learn, but crucially, how to learn.I wholeheartedly endorse this school. It's a place where kids truly thrive, supported by a team that really cares about them.
