Excellent. Very effective teachers and it’s very clean

Our experience with Ridgewood Montessori School has been nothing short of exceptional.This school truly stands out for providing an education that is noticeably more advanced and thoughtfully delivered than what we have seen in many public school settings. The academic expectations are high, but they are paired with individualized support, hands-on learning, and a deep respect for how children actually learn and grow.One of the most impressive aspects of Ridgewood Montessori is the staff. The teachers are not only Montessori trained, but also fully certified New Jersey teachers. This combination of traditional certification and specialized Montessori training creates a level of expertise and professionalism that is rare to find. The classrooms are calm, purposeful, and academically rich, and it is clear that the teachers understand both child development and rigorous academic instruction.Equally important is the school’s commitment to maintaining a focused, respectful learning environment. Ridgewood Montessori takes proactive steps to ensure that all students can learn without ongoing disruptions. They prioritize a classroom culture where children feel safe, supported, and able to concentrate- something that can be challenging to consistently maintain in larger public school environments. This attention to the learning climate allows students to thrive academically and socially. As an educator myself I am thoroughly impressed everyday. The sense of community, the respect for each child as an individual, and the dedication to high standards make Ridgewood Montessori a remarkable place for children to learn. We are incredibly grateful to be part of a school that combines strong academics, professional educators, and a nurturing, orderly environment where students can truly reach their potential.

My son started at the growing garden nursery school in October and it was the best decision we could have made for him. This was our first experience with him going into a classroom and we were apprehensive about how he would adjust. From the first conversation I had with Miss Mary Lynn I immediately felt like we would be making a great decision for our son. The entire staff is warm , caring, and genuinely interested in each of the students . Our son is excited to go to school every day and we love to get updates from Facebook and and see all of the fun projects they do each day . All the teachers are very open and inviting and make it very easy to talk to them. We are so grateful for the growing garden nursery school!

I am a student, and I honestly do not like this school. That school has strict bathroom rules. The rules are that we have to keep the stall door open and keep your hands to the side. The stall door open rule is the rule that is privacy invading, even though they LITERALLY claim they “respect privacy”. This school is also VERY immature. It acts like elementary school even if we are teenagers/adults. I’m not going to recommend this school to anybody.

We are thrilled with our children's experience at Ben Porat Yosef! They are excited to go to school each day and have progressed year to year! They have the most amazing teachers and staff who not only clearly love their job but are extremely attuned to each child's social-emotional needs. The school spirit cant be beat and my kids say it feels like a second home!

As a person of color with two children enrolled at St. Peter Academy, I can honestly say our experience has been exceptional. From the curriculum to the overall environment, SPA truly stands out. The school is welcoming, inclusive, and committed to every child’s success. The staff, teachers, and administrators are very hands on and supportive, it genuinely feels like a village working together for the children.Since enrolling at SPA, my children are academically thriving in ways they did not experience in public school. The individualized attention and high academic expectations have made a noticeable difference in their confidence and growth.I am especially impressed with the Preschool program. It is truly academic. My 4 yr. old started reading, which speaks volumes about the quality of instruction and care at an early age.I highly recommend St. Peter Academy for children of all ages. It is a nurturing, inclusive, and academically strong school where students are supported, challenged, and valued.
