I moved my daughter from a private all girls school in New York to New Jersey and they made her write and essay about why she wants to be apart of their school and she did and when we had the appointment

NAGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNEWSFLASH: This school no longer exists. It hasn t existed since 2005. The school building now houses University Heights Charter School. I attended this school for Pre-K. I have many happy memories here, like praying before lunch with Mrs. Atwell, or having picnics on the grass by the playground. This was a lovely school. I think they went through financial issues, because they closed down. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI really struggled with the way dismissal was handled at this school. I am claustrophobic, and when over 100 people were trying to leave out of one single door, it became very overwhelming and uncomfortable for me. I tried to calmly explain this to the staff and asked if I could exit through another door, especially since I was suggesting they let other parents use it too to make things easier and safer. Instead, I was told I wasn’t allowed, even though it clearly would have helped with the crowding.
