Posted by a parent on 8/19/2018Currently my son's language arts/social studies class room is either freezing or too hot to concentrate in. Some days they are sent to their lockers to get their coats, while other days they have class in the cafeteria or media center because it it too warm. This is a new construction classroom and connects to the STEM room that the entire school uses. Neither of these two rooms have any windows or ventilation. This is a shame.
Posted by a parent on 2/1/2018My children are consistently picked on both verbally and physically. The school will not help them. The counselor has told them to ignore and walk away. The principal and vice principal told us it's just kids being kids.
Posted by a community member on 10/10/2017I give the teachers five stars and the leadership zero stars. Most of the teachers are wonderful and caring. The bullying policy is ineffective. The principal and administration have both ignored the NJ Special Education Code. Our experience at AWR has been disappointing.

She is flourishing in academics, athletics, and her friends (and their families) are really great people. My daughter has been exposed to volunteering opportunities which exposed her to the joy of giving back to others. Jen Landis, the Head of Schools, is a role model for the girls in the Upper School. We couldn't be happier with the experience - both ours and our daughter's. Oak Knoll carefully curates each student's experience to be purposeful and learn through doing.Parent Review5mo ago
