Currently my son's language arts/social studies class room is either freezing or too hot to concentrate in. Some days they are sent to their lockers to get their coats, while other days they have class in the cafeteria or media center because it it too warm. This is a new construction classroom and

My children are consistently picked on both verbally and physically. The school will not help them. The counselor has told them to ignore and walk away. The principal and vice principal told us it's just kids being kids.

I give the teachers five stars and the leadership zero stars. Most of the teachers are wonderful and caring. The bullying policy is ineffective. The principal and administration have both ignored the NJ Special Education Code. Our experience at AWR has been disappointing.
