Posted by a parent on 11/8/2014I moved to Montville for the schools. I sent my child to St Pius for preschool and decided to continue his education there. The school is amazing. Sister June is a wonderful principle. She makes sure every child counts.

Mrs. Galluzzi is finest teacher and understands the need of each student and nurtures her students with personal attention to each one. Daily assignments are interesting and engaging and help students learn and understand. There are various activities conducted and as a volunteer got chance to attend and experience it from inside. Two of them graduated from college, one with an engineering degree and one with a biology degree and BSN. The third one was accepted into numerous honors programs. The administration is actively involved walking around the building all day long. The principal even plays with the children at recess. All the staff and teachers are excellent and truly care about the well being of the children in this school. We have been very impressed with the academics, the afterschool club opportunities and there is a wonderful community.
