Posted by a parent on 10/17/2012When it comes to math education Newark Academy is the place to go. Frequently you will see 6th grades taking Algebra. And in 8th grade they have a class that combines algebra 2 and pre-calclus. Once in a while you see kids take Calculus AB/BC in 9th grade

Teachers are invested in their students working with them so the students can do their best. Classes are small. The Catholic faith is taught here at AQA, but all are welcome because catholic means universal and here at Aquinas, that is evident. I recommend this school for anyone looking for a smaller environment, one where your child won't count as just a number, but as part of a true school community/family. The administration is also a pleasure to work with, as they listen to concerns, questions, and suggestions and have quick response time. Teachers are great, hands on, communicative, classes are structured with daily activities, sports, music and dance. They hold many parent meetings, events for the students and fun tricky tray bringing the school families and community together!
